    Shinko off-road tyres

does anyone use them and what are your thoughts, I currently have a bridgestone rear and dunlop front (can't be arsed going out to look at the specific models) nothing to complain about except the rear is decidedly sad

Bike is an 06 WR450 that is used on everything forests, gravel, clay, grass, wet and dry.

they have a tendancy of ripping knobs off when you use them on gravel and other harder surfaces from my experience with them

My mate caleb whos a top XC rider used them for the 3day, was pretty stoked with them. Think the price is pretty good to.

We used a set of Holeshot 540's on a TS400 for a couple of seasons. Went very well until we put them on the mighty XR250 on a bit harder terrain...

The weird bit was we didn't notice the knobs being missing until we got home.

Yeah. That is the crux of the problem.
They're damn good tyres. Just not long lasting.
