    Bucephalus the Buell

It got dropped off today thanks to the goodness that is Wellington Motorcycles and Pete McDonald.

It's a stunning looking bike out of the gloom of the storage facility. We had a bit of a tiff when I started him up so he's back to the shop tomorrow, but I should be out for a ride tomorrow night, if I feel human.

I'll do pictures when I can see again.

I'm not normally one for anthropomorphising but I can't help it. If you had one you'd know what I mean. I do believe this may be a keeper. Time will tell I guess, but it has immediately struck me as one of those bikes that you can sit down with a beer in your hand and look at it while sitting on some sort of crate, murmuring to yourself about your own cleverness.

Insurance is unbelievably cheap thanks to Harley-Davidson Insurance. I may be stuck buying American. I'm a bit of a tight bastard. Keep the CR for the twisty bits, buy a cruiser with a backrest for future potential back seat riding partners and hope like hell that Harley-Davidson make an adventure bike of some description in the near-ish future.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

You do that with a bike you built and work on yourself, not one that someone else built and others work on for you.

Other than that,I'm happy for you.Make sure the road is clear before glancing at yourself in bank windows as you ride by.

cool cool cool..they look sooo much nicer in the flesh than in pics..even the side boobies look good.

Don't think your going to have much luck with a H-D adventure bike with the demise of Buell.

    So what colour is he....

Any chance that you could elaborate on "a bit of a tiff"?

Such a stunning bike...please don't visit us. hXc will stop saving for Europe and start saving for a Buell, then I will be stuck with him!
Either that, or he will steal it from under your nose, ride it like he stole it...and eventually return it...maybe....

The "Harley Package" involves much more than the bike. Sneering non-Harley riders won't understand that.

And you know where I live.

The side boobs work better on the CR than the R IMO.

He is white with a black bottom.

Sorry, yes I am a bastard. Add smug to the front of that and you'd be spot on.

Thank you. I thought the same when I was told the price. I had other plans, but it would have worked out to twice as much as I just spent. Bit hard to look the other way.

Pete would never deliver a motorcycle without a full tank of gas.
