    That sounds exactly what many bikers on here would like! A place they can ride and say "fuck you" to regulations.

    Of course, lots of the riders are being killed and injured, but that is only a small concession for your freedom, isn't?

    Reminds me of biking in Vietnam - if you can sit on it without falling off you are good to go! Gear consists of jandals, t-shirt and shorts. Helmets are rare and they are nicknamed "rice cookers" because wearing them will steam your head. As for road rules, when crossing an intersection don't slow down just make some frenetic use your horn and hope for the best.

    Of course, as a result, many truckers and bus drivers unintentionally use bikers as speed bumps.

    They have the freedom but they do not have the education we have. Put kiwi bikers in to the same situation and the result would be different.

    You're right.

    Put kiwi bikers in this situation and then we would be expected to $3687.97 for six months rego to cover ACC levies...
