    Finally did it

Bought an 04 300 exc last night for 4grand, tis in pretty good nick but still an old bike so i have reserved an extra 2g for bling and "up to scratch bits". So today i bought new tyres, tubes, hour metre, piston kit, chain&sproks, fork seals, seat cover (and foam for raising seat height), fork bleeders, bar pad& risers, pipe guard, a KTM hat and some KTM gumboots ha ha haaa

Gonna get the shock serviced (gonna do forks myself) so my question here is.....

What rear spring do i get??? i'm 105-110kg geared up

    Danger? help

Did you get the hand bag as well?
Sorry the suspension question is best handled by Danger or Robert. I'm sure you'll have fun just being back on a bike again. Tussock buster for a catch up eh?

Depends what you actually weigh is it 100 or 105kg without gear? I like the PDS springs, probably a PDS8 or a PDS4 depending on your actual weight. You won't find one easily though as I'm the only stockist in NZ as far as I'm aware and I've run my inventory down on the heavier springs for the older bikes, don't get to re spring too many older ones for heavy weights anymore and the newer generation KTM's need lighter springs. I do have a PDS4 (could be bordering on being a bit heavy for you unless your 105kg plus gear) but no PDS8 in stock. Other wise I have a straight rate which would work or if you wanted to wait a few weeks I can get a PDS8 which I believe would be better.
You need to be very careful setting the sag on those bikes with the top out spring shock (03-04 bikes) you need the right spring and you can't set the sag by the usual methods.
Call me on 09 832 0153 Mon-Fri 9.00-5.00 (ok sometimes I sneak of early for a surf at this time of year so mornings are better) and I will explain the correct way to set your sag if you want a fast reply. I don't get on here much these days and may miss your posts.

Twice the displacement, twice the cost and a decibel problem, I'll pass on the inside brraaaap!!!

Hey bro would you like one with a kick start or electric start ?..prity easy it was just a 2 slice toaster..orange of course the heating elements in the middle spelt out KTM in hollow type letters so ktm was not toasted or not toasted as much as the rest of the bread..so prity cool ..eh hot ..well toasted really...but shouldnt it really make orange toast ???? lasttime i was at the mx in the pits it was like the charge of the bloody orange brigade..ORANGE everywhere, bikes, clothes, tents, seats, tables, waterblasters, one ktm owner even had an orange for lunch ...what is it a kind of desease..shit i hope it aint catchy

wake up in the morning in my ktm jammies, pull on my ktm socks, and slippers ,into the kitchen to make some ktm toast in the ktm toaster, load the ktm onto the ktm trailer dont forget the ktm tools, once at the races erect the ktm tent , table and seats, drink water from ktm waterbottle , chat to other orange people about orange stuff, eat oranges for lunch and vodka and orange for after the racing wash bike with ktm waterblaster and ktm bucket, have carrots for tea (cause they orange )back into bed at the end of the day lay your head on your ktm orange pillow....night folks ..... HHHMMMM That 450 EXC looks nice...OH GOD NO I THINK I HAVE IT ....Take me back to the land of blue
