To the scooter rider who almost got taken out on Normanby Rd, Mt Eden...

...hope that didn't scare you too much! That was pretty bloody close!

For those wondering what 'm talking about, I was following a scooter on my bike a couple of hours ago when just before the Speights Ale House some guy in a 4x4 just pulled a U turn from the side of the road right in front of the scooter. I don't think there was more than a meter in it! What a dick, he didn't even stop to apologise.

When you're driving a 4X4 you don't have to notice scooters. Normanby Rd - it's been a while since I lived in Auck, but I can't remember Normanby Rd being the kind of area that you needed a 4X4. There aren't any river crossings, unpaved sections etc are there?

I heard driving a huge car like a 4x4 makes your penis feel huge.

It's in the owner's manual..."now that you own a gas guzzling chrome mountain, you are exempt from all traffic regulations and are excused for running over anybody and everybody. You get extra credits for hitting two wheeled vehicles and double extra credits for running over your offspring in the driveway"

funnily enough some people dont have the luxury of owning several cars, a small one for commuting, a medium sized one for running the famdamly about, and something to tow the boat/caravan, so they buy something that does everything - usually a 4x4. Why do people ride large sports bikes there isnt anywhere that you can use the power legally apart from a track so why winge about someone driving a 4x4 in the city where there is no offroading to be done, Last time i looked people had freedom of choice to drive what the fuck they felt like and if the time ever comes that people are restricted to what they can use for transport motorbikes will be first to be banned as they are dangerous, large road bikes are certainly not fuel efficient compared to a modern car or even a large chrome mountain deisel 4x4

Damn straight! Every man should own a 4X4 and they make a fine vehicle for the city and they're mighty manly to boot.

No no, you see the urban 4x4 driver has this thinking that having a mud-free 4x4 GIVES you a big penis - however having a mud-free 4x4 actually MAKES you a big penis.

Used to have a Isuzu Bighorn, towed the caravan, went hunting/shooting and picked the occasional scroter out of the grill, loved it (improved my willie size too). Now I got the bike, 'er indoors has got a Chrysler PT Cruiser, a bigger piece of shite you would have to go a long way to find.
