Was wondering who's doing what tomorrow? I understand that the Woodville GP is on but was looking for something a little closer to home (Auckland).

Any ideas / suggestions would be awesome.
was quite keen on that scramble, what did you make of it?
    Broken bikes wanted, pm details

Drove to Mangakino only to find that the domain where the moto x track is had hundreds of campers on it! Track was closed because of this "Kiwiburn" event, whatever that is.
Turned round and a few ks up the road we (my son and myself) couldnt resist the logged bush.
What a day it turned out to be! No tracks - just make your own. And it was fairly dry as well but not dusty.Sweet pumice hillclimbs! We had a blast. Whilst on the firebreaks on the way in a DoC vehicle came round the corner and saw us full on. My first thought was - Oh no, but hey,the driver just waved and smiled politely. All in all - a great day out.

    Hey there!

Just wanted to know how your ride went? Geez it's a long time between rides for you! Has your partner got herself a bike now as well, or will she use yours?

Yeah it was awesome. I't glad to have done Everest. That was a wicked hill climb. The hill climbs on the track just opposite Everest were way cooler though. Pity greg charges $40 to rider there. Its a bit of a rip off.

Thats why Ive shyed away from the power rides lately - Theyre all $40 or more and there s nothing about the rides that make them more superior than any one else's Ive noticed.
