Yeah me too. Might go along although I'm not overly impressed with the VFR (looks anyway).

You sure you can't use the old ones? Mine were a bit daggy but I just went carefully and made sure I put them on the tapered end first and then slipped the new mid pipe over carefully. Nothing to loose if you've ordered new ones anyway. Remember that the gasket goo is supposed to have 24 hours curing though...

Did you apply the gasket maker on both ends of the mid pipe? I onlt applied the stuf on the end that went into the canisters.

So I should apply the same on this end too?

Just from cans to mids. The bottom end needs to be able to move a little as you get everything into place nicely before tightening everything up. Also, make sure that you get the mufflers nicely lined up before the goo goes off - wouldn't do to have your nice oval mufflers looking skew-f (just made that spelling up)!

Guess that will be for the TT2000 then - can't wait should be an awesome couple of days.
I know I am out of touch but hey lack of a home computer does that to a hard-working PhD student.

Shall have to catch up on all of Andrews tips before the off and see if I can make better average speed than GC, hopefully less changes of clothes too

At last a laptop that works, makes up for working instead of a couple of 'one night stands' in Napier

Great ride on Wednesday 18 bikes including another babe riding :

Maria seemed to enjoy the send off. A ride on Kenny's 675 fuelled with AVGas made my night, would love to get that off him on a track day (roll on April).

Word must have got out about Rick offering to take me underwear shopping on the CD ride to Napier rather than to the bike shops

I hear he spent most of the last track day being pursued in the pits
Now the poor guy may have even more women chasing him, good job the Aprillia is fast (when it stays on the track ).

Does this mean an influx of women riders at CD ?!!!!

That would be awesome, we can give the boys a run for their money for sure

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

He he, I would'nt worry too much about Cowboyz, he's proven he could ride the 9 with just about anything on it and still be pretty handy in pace out on Manfeild. He did his PB with a shock that had absolutely zero damping effect so...

haha the pogo effect rapidly decreases the turning radius of the bike through corners giving it better handling, but lengthens the swing arm through straights to increase top speed......
i tell you cowboyz is sneaky, its a carefully planed modification
