Yeah, he's got an itchy right wrist when there's a camera around. Gives me plenty of entertainment.

I shouldn't say too much though, as I'm fairly sure he's got a couple of photos of me doing silly shit.

That trip up Whariti was a challenge. It's quite steep and rutty in places. Wheel spinning all the way, as the surface was like talcom powder.

I have a V Strom 1000, long time since I have done any off road riding, have been up to the dams behind Shannon in a car, would it be worthwhile seeing how I go on your ride, or not?

My bro-in-law has taken his SV1000 up there on road tyres without any problems.

I've taken road bikes up in the past. It's just been graded, and was challenging with trailwings. Very hard to get forward momentum. Back wheel was just spinning all the way.
