Mock me if you will but I was running at the back of the grid last years winter series as well and as the front runners got faster, so did we. For me it aint about winning (atm) its about learning to ride better and faster and watching my lap times fall. Hey, if you stay in the same class long enough you're surely going to end up at the pointy end eventually!!

So why doesn't the Vic club make the meeting on the 27/28th feb the first round of their series too? I'm sure there's nothing stopping points being awarded for both NZ Champs and another series in the same race?

I will be treating like any other Vic Club round seeing as they are running it. How much more different will it be??? Christ it's only the nationals, just a few more out of town riders.

My first National round was manfeild last year and I had a ripper of a time! had to up my game to keep up with Duncan on his SV.

I went 2 seconds faster over the space of a weekend due to how much time you get on the track and got to watch some fantastic racing.

yep. same here. i was over 4 seconds faster at levels, a second faster a ruapuna (one days dry time) and 2 secs. faster at invercargill. And i decided it was that much fun im heading north for the final round.

do it once, do it proper and youll be hooked i say.
