Did you mean March or February? There's one this Sunday that I'd like to know more about.

    When: Sunday, 21st February 2010
Where: Port Waikato - Sunset Farms
    District: South Auckland
Directions: Signposted from the Tuakau Bridge over the Waikato River - follow the Honda signs to Port Waikato then south for 3 km to the farm
Classes: - All motorcycles and Quads welcome

Terrain: fantastic views and farmland riding with native trails, pine block and cliff runs. NOt to be missed - once a year only
    Organiser: Power Adventures

We are thinking of doing this one.
No mention of the price but I'm guessing it'll be $40 given its a poweradventures ride.

Its a really cool ride. nice and cruisy, not very technical on the main loops, has a few steep expert secions aswell. A mis of fast bush tracks and open coastal hill tracks
Its right on the coast so the views may side track you...

    heres the silverbullet ad http://www.silver-bullet.co.nz/event.php?id=7180
prices are probably around $40 for an adult as its a power adventures ride

EDIT, dammit, this is old info now

    Edit - explained above.

Guess there's only one way to learn... Sounds good, might check it out if I'm in one piece after Kimmys on Saturday.

Yeah. I limit my power adventures riding to once per year.
Save up for Desert Storm and Tussock Buster instead

It's always a pleasant ride just take your time to avoid the log jams of riders that occur in a couple of places. Certainly a family ride, so aimed at providing terrain anyone can ride and there is always lots of open areas so the new riders don't feel they are going to get flattened by the faster guys.

I know a lot of us complain about the ride costs but we need to keep supporting these guys as without them you will be riding around your back yard, not on someones farm, $40 for a days entertainment is cheap in my books.

Thanks for the review. I don't think $40 is too bad compared to other activities like karting, plus this is WAY more fun.
