Take care out there and enjoy yourself, enjoy yourself, did I say enjoy yourself?

Me and the little black beast got out again today.
    wow, i love my bike.
My bike opens up new doors everyday.
Met a lovely gentleman today in the carpark outside the meat market. He was admiring my bike. Was very surprised to hear me say it was an itty bitty 250. hehe, it's all that plastic.
Anyway, he asked me how many cylinders, one or two, how the f..k would i know, he just laughed at my blank face and I said, i dont' know I turn the key on, press the button and i'm away. not really cared about the how and what, which has got me thinking.
I am cared, am very interested in how it works. Never had an interest in how the dumb car works but the bike, different story.
Right, think I may look into becoing a motorcycle mechanic. I need a new career and I kinda like to get dirty. My children are at school, I need to be looking at what I wish to do and I so don't want to go back to being the admin lady. It has given me more food for thought and when that happens I have even more to love my bike for.

dont' ya just luv ya bike!!!!!

Hey girl... ya bike is a parallel twin four stroke, a double over head cam four valve head... tricky shit aye, ok lets start with something easier.
A single cyl 2 stroke (fires every 2nd up n downie, not forth like your bike) check this out, and Ill be back with a action gizmo attachment of a four stroke, rotary, radial and jet turbine

Darrrrrryl, what are you doing? How to confuse the blonde!!! FFS, I'm so lost and have no freaking idea, but I don't care, and do you know why? Because I have a bike and one day I shall know exactly how to pull it all to peices and put it back together again.
I want to know (and more so now you aroused my curiousity somemore) how every little peice works and moves and then I want to know it's name

    Now i'm off to google..........................

Perhaps then ... a search for a workshop manual for YOUR bike ... so alot of the maintainence YOU can do yourself. Step by step..... easy peasy ...

Instructions to pull it ALL apart ... if you have to ( with pretty pictures too ) with all the bits named too ...

Ohhh, i should have said that moving attachment above shows a stroker with reed valve induction, another method of induction would be radial valve

True .... but at least she will know what all the bits are called.

But she will be able to adjust the chain ... change a blown indicator/headlight bulb ... check oil/brake fluid levels .... replace broken levers and other bits ...

There's still a few things she CAN do without affecting the warranty ...

yeah, cool aye... thats a good example of how the fuel mix passes over the piston and out the exhaust and how the reflecting sound waves push the fuel mix back in just before 'KARBOOB'
