Wow! What a turn out. I think there was 55 bikes at the carpark, which equals our all time record set two years ago.

OMG that bike is awesome. I took it really easy last night but I'm already feeling at home on it. I was gutted when I got to work this morning, not only cause I was at work, but cause I wanted to keep riding!!

    Now, who want's a Ninja?

In this case "uni commitments" = party at the student bar. Well worded Eliot.

Thanks for trusting me with it! Although I imagine the footage will be very interesting.... I thought that you would have peeled off there, so thank you for babysitting me, hope you didn't mind the slow speeds. First time doing that run at night with me at the front. Amazing how the road looks completely different at night and the fact that I was tired didn't help, I certainly didn't appreciate the concentration needed for that ride. I was so glad to get home. Head hit the pillow and I had a great nights sleep!

Replace it with an RFID chip in your glove... no more keys (but no more steering lock, if you give a shit about that on a gp rep), just wave your hand over the bike like a Jedi

Wasn't me, I didn't end up doing the ride because I was helping Andrew look for his keys...

Edit: Love your new bike Tris

So what did you get for yourself? I gathered as much that it is a Honda - and a CBR too as far as I can tell... But which year and which size?

Excellent taste Tris, except the colour, Honda's s'posed to be red duh!
Sometimes you wish it was easier, but if it was, everyone else would do it, then you remember you don't want to be like everybody else!

Relative to my losing of my keys, I had a new set made up based on the petrol tank, but unfortunately they only work within the petrol tank and helmet lock, not the ignition barrel. Luckily I have a spare ignition barrel and key, but for some bizarre reason the manufacturer makes these barrels pretty bloody difficult to remove.

And so, if anyone on here has a large socket (to use on the triple clamp) and - I'm unsure of the correct name - but a tool that's sort of the inverse of an allen key, that I could borrow for tomorrow, I would greatly appreciate it. If this sounds like you you can PM me, reply on here, or give me a ring on 332 3943. I can pick up tonight or tomorrow.

    Thanks.
