Kapiti Coast Thursday Night Cruise 2009-2010

Kapiti Riders Thursday Night Makara Ride (25th February) 6:30pm Takeoff

Rained off last Thursday night so well do it this week

Here's the game plan for all interested or silly enough to follow

Paraparaumu - Paekakariki Hill - Paremata Road - Grenada via backroad to Johnsonville - Makara - Karori - Drink stop Shepherds Arms Tinakori Road then homeward bound

Start point - South end of the car park outside The Warehouse Coastlands takeoff 6:30pm

All bike types and riders welcome
Join us at any points on the way just lets us know where

Please note takeoff at 6:30pm instead of 7:00pm

Catch ya there

Ps please check the thread beforehand if weather is dicey. The insane ride regardless

Heading all the way out to Makara beach?

Not sure if I will meet in Kapiti or this side of the Paekakariki Hill, but will definitely ride tonight. Weather is much improved despite the wind..... funny that in Wellington!

You coming via Grays Road or the Whitby side?

Well I did manage to launch myself , but not in the usual way....

Was a good ride tonight guys,got a totally different view of campervans,......I mean Goldwings after tonight, must have something to do with the rider I think

Yep all good. I even enjoyed my sojourn off into the backwaps - those wind turbines up that south makara road were worth the extra ride to see. HUGE!!!

So now I have to go Right to the very end of Wainui Coast Road And South Makara Road to see what I missed.

That's another whole ride in itself.
