What is the abrasion resistance of a twat's skin?

Probably just another old post, but what is the abrasion resistance of the following

1. Skin with no covering
2. Skin with suntan lotion.
3. Skin with a cut off tee, no gloves and shorts.
4. Skin with a teeshirt on.
5. Skin with a lightweight Plastic rain coat.
6. Skin with any motorbike jacket on ( Both leather or armored Cloth ).

It seems yet again as the Sun has come out, the clothes come off.

This may be pleasing for the eye when you get off the bike, But I suspect if you dump it, it may not be so pleasing to the eye.

But 120Kmh on the Northwesten, weaving in an out of traffic at 5:30 tonight with option 3 makes us all look like twats, and I don't mean that in a nice way.

Some will say, "its a life style choice", but if that girl rider wonders why I did not wave at her tonight, when she waved at me, its because I don't wave at twats, riding with one gloveless hand in heavy traffic.

I saw a guy recently going up Courtenay Place on the commute wearing an Armani / pinstripe suit with a coffee in one hand and attempting to ride his crappy scooter at the same time..

It seems yet again, that as the sun comes out, so do the bikers.

But they're so much more prone to injury if they crash.

They should all be forced to drive nice safe 5-star crash rated cars.

edit: Poor biker is probably so broke saving for their upcoming ACC levies that they can't afford the gear.

There's a guy who lives close to me who rides his bike in whatever he happens to be wearing but adds a helmet, which hey, your skin mate, but I think I may have a friendly word to him next time I see him at the supermarket about making sure his 10 year old daughter is wearing at least some jeans and gloves when he has her riding pillion. Even a slow speed low side can give you some very very nasty gravel rash!
I'll probably get told to get fucked and to mind my own business, what's funny though is that people like this then claim ACC for their medical treatment which WE all pay for, so it is my business.

If it's someone who knows what they are doing and has made informed choices - it's the twat's skin and it's legal.

Oooh, I don't like that. It's one thing to give your kid a little thrill with a short ride at low speed, but I don't like the idea of a yound child with no protection travelling at normal road speeds on public roads. That makes alarm bells ring in my head. Take the kid out to one of those kids parks, with kid bikes, and kid safety gear if you want.

I try not to force my views on others, and say if they know the risks (that's if) then they can choose to accept what risk to accept. It's their life.

But when it involves the life of someone else who is unable to make that decision for themselves ... that's a line I don't like being crossed.

Thats why I dont wave at bikers.

Dumb cunts are 35 times more likely to die in a crash than me and my mum in the Volvo. Their "lifestyle choice" costs me money in ACC, clogs the hospitals and they should be banned forthwith.
