IIRC it is an army border track in germany used by 4x4's as well as bikes....buggered if I know how you get a 4x4 onto it, it's a popular adventure riding route about 60kms long althought I think most of us would crawl along it rather than ride along it.

Ya beat me to it mate. I had no idea I was riding riiiiiiiiiite along the edge of a steep dropoff on your tour - as you say, busy lookin' where I oughta, but when I had an opportunity to look down, there fucken wasn't any!! Just a thin line of bush followed by mucho vertical airspace!

Me and some mates went and rode a DoC walking track, but there have been some slips so the track isnt wide enough to fit a tractor past, actually about 1m wide in some places with vertical drops off the side, so the track is completely overgrown, after riding along past the slips we got to a log that was unpassable, and coming back we were going pretty quick, i hit a stick in the grass and got pushed over and rode off the track, bike was about a meter down this near vertical ledge, the front wheel stopped on a small rock, took 6 of us to pull it back up again....
Not quite as extreme as the track in the video...
we may just go where no ones been
