Look what I got my dooks on

Bikes.. i have been looking at bikes ever since i got here
Keep changing my mind < as we do>
Had a Triumph Tiger all set to buy.. but the deal fell through.
    Back to drawing board.....
Anyway.. this came up. seemed like a good deal so i bought it....
Its a TDM 850.....down in Sydney. so i got we trip coming up..
I know the 900 is a better bike.. but where do we stop...
looking through many forums.. i see blokes riding 30 year old bikes.. and still enjoying themselves. which is whats it about...
Mate of mine has just picked the bike up for me.
He is going to store it for me till i get down there..
    Reckons its imacculate.....
Goes well.. and never been dropped....
Looks like i got a bargain,,,,
Cant wait to pick it up....

Nothing wrong with them ... the same motor as the TRX 850.

    Nice bike!

I reckon they are bloody good bikes, kinda like a pair of "quality" brown shoe's.
Never quite in fashion, definitely never out of fashion and very, very reliable!

The original comfy do-it-all! Became popular for Bike Paramedics in Aus. Became known as the Tedium for those wanting a more sporty ride, hence the 900. Not necessarily a better bike than the 850 depending on what you wanted one for.
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!

How you getting on with her Kev? Been clocking up good miles on my 900. Fuck I love that bike. Put some KURust on the zorst collector on the 850 if you're using it in the wet as they rot through (good excuse to ditch the original pipes though as they weigh a tonne). Trixie cams slot right in if you want more top end but what's the point!!!
