How about via Tai Tapu, half way over Gebbies, do summit rd from Gebbies to Sign of the kiwi, down Dyers and then round the bays to Diamond Harbour?? (I suggest we call this route the KP route, if it hasn't already been named

I have just spoken to the City Council. The Sumner Road will be closed at 6.00pm and reopening at 7.00am, today and tomorrow.

Do we want to leave Godley House to next week and do something else tonight??? I have a reason to want to ride a little further tonight and this may be revealed later in the day.
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

Young Grasshopper I like that one.

Our riders would still have to be careful of sunstrike on several corners, however it is nowhere near as bad as Evans to Dyers. As I remember there is prior warning of the sunstrike. (sunlight on the corners before before you ride into it)

And of course to be named " KP's route" the Lady herself would have to would have to christen it. Are you up to it KP???????

Evans pass been a real pain for us at work being closed , theyre not sticking 100% to their times either. I'm keen to run to duvachelle's again, Sealing is a pain at this time of year , with the days getting shorter , making the most of longer runs should be a made.

Regardless of any ride we do tonight, I would love to get photos of everyone, like I did on the 1st night (as some people have changed their bikes!!) I would be happy to do either ride!

Good the quorum has come to a consensus that I was correct in my information, the Sumner road is closed, the signs have been on Sumner road near the Timeball turn off and the corner of Norwich Quay and Oxford Streets for about two months, they are bright orange with black writing. You will see this kind of sign now days preceding all sorts of planned things that close roads for any period of time, I suspect there are a few up around Oxford presently.

So I sound a little sarcastic, hmm maybe.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
