Waterfront Bar & Kitchen on the beach at Raumati :- it's almost my local, they do great grub and sitting on the deck with a feed a red wine and watching the sunset over Kapiti is awesome

Well, you could have taken a leak before you left the bar.

    Hi everyone.

Ratti and myself have just registered for the womens training day at Manfield Track on the 30th March with Karel Pavich (is that correct Ratti?). Can't wait. But i have also just realised that this is the last Tuesday night ride! Oh no. I was planning on staying the night up that way (as I'm heading up Auckland the next day). If I was to come back that night, I think we would get back too late to join the ride anyway.

So very excited about the training day, but also was looking forward to a meal out together after the last ride.

Mmmm can't have everything can we?

Sounds like a good experience. I hope you girls have a good turnout and favourable weather for the trackday. Watch out for the cows (do they still have them there??!!). I recall driving around that track flat out in a police car and passing by a small herd of cows happily sitting right next to the track watching us go by.... bizarre. Although that was a fair few years ago now.

yup All registered. Did not think about it being a tuesday night. o well, no-ones gonna miss me anyway. there is no reason why we cant still do tuesday nights as long as the weather is reasonable. Even riding in the dark should not be an issue. and the very noobs will benefit from the practice of night riding. AS long as we can convince a few more experienced riders to come along and offer an hint or two on night riding. Its all part of the game

I don't remeber any cows when I drove that in the wonderful NZP driving school Holdens in 1973, and flat out didn't amount to a whole lot.

The only cows on the track are likely to be the ones riding bikes

I can say this cos I'll be one of them...any of you guys agree with me and watch out...I may be slow but I will paddle your butt when you least expect it.

Sorry Guy, unfortunately no. Have kids this weekend so will be busy. I hope the bad weather delays itself for your ride.
