Going on Thurs but just heard Smithy on the telly saying you couldn't bring food in.
Eden Park website says you can as long as it's not commercially branded.
Don't wan't the fuckers stealing my chilly bin and sausages!
Any one know?

Haven't been for a while, but a few years ago you could take what you wanted, except booze or hard chilly bins.
What does commercially branded mean? You can't take a packet of chips? That's fucked up. No wonder no-one goes there any more. Mum and Dad and a couple of kids could bankrupt you on snacks if you went to a cricket match.
Yeah no loaves of bread and deli ham for a healthy sandwhich - go and have a coronary-dog made from lips and aortas by some sweaty greek.
But.... Eden Park website seems like hard chilly's are ok as long as they fit under the seat. Edit: no you're right - no hard bins thanks for pointing that out. Facists.

What a pack of wankers. Luckily, the Auckland ratepayers get to give the pricks several million bucks for the world cup upgrade.
Get your food, and decant it into snaplock bags. (Bread, ham, cheese, lettuce). Plus chips in tupperware. Take your own smaller plastic bottle with the labels off (water, juice).
Chuck it all into a soft-sided chilly bag and stroll smugly through the Plastic Badge "guards" (Don't call them Plastic Badge, BTW. DAMHIK)
Sod them, I've always taken food in. Although I must admit it's been a while since I went along to a one-dayer there. I'm not going to pay their rip off prices or starve for the whole day. My guess is that they just don't like spectators taking in large chillys etc. which take up heaps of space when (if the park is full) it's pretty squashed anyway.
"I am a licenced motorcycle instructor, I agree with dangerousbastard, no point in repeating what he said."
"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
"Wow, Great advise there DB."
WTB: Hyosung bikes or going or not.
