VTNZ staff are not public servants and haven't been for some considerable time.

As far as I know, VTNZ is currently owned by the Motor Trade Assn.

You simply went to a VTNZ agency that was still running the old software in it's cyborgs!

You will probably find that the management is running on outdated software package too!

Conclusion: There is nothing wrong with you, suck it up and move on, even if you win, you will lose with these types!

0oh the joys of urges aye. Such a hassle when people are in ignore. I am glad I managed to wind you up yet again.

Thank you very much please come back again.

Good call VTNZ +1 someone should write a letter and thank them for such sensible acts.

Who goes to VTNZ and pays $45 to $50 for WOF when there are people out there that do it for $30 and then writes and complains Princess

Discrimination happens everywhere and if it's not pointed out soon enough we will all suffer more not less for it.
PB is quite right to ask why?
The answer might not be what she wanted to hear and it's patently wrong ( read their own rules) but at least she is doing something about it.
We can all beg to differ, we can all put forward funny anecdotes and tell her to HTFU but ultimately, everyone of us here know this is a wrong situation and we should all rdie on down there and give em shit for casting naspersitions upon one of our own! Even if it did occur while she was drinving her cage.
I'll tell you where to take the car and the bikes when I see you next PB.
Oh my god, lets all go protest out side. Better yet, lets lobby parliament and have the place shut down for discriminatory acts.

    Are you fuckin retarded?

PB, I am sorry there are still biggoted people in the world. You are not young enough to be so naive as to not realise it however.

Your letter will surely get the people in trouble for letting drivers put their own car over the pit, but will result in no action what-so-ever regarding the sexism issue.

It's not really you carrying this thread on, but you did start it, and I cant help but wonder. To what end?

I would like to be able to drive my car into the pit area just like the menfolk, and not be refused because I don't have a willy. Would you like to be stopped from doing something you're perfectly capable of doing just 'cos you do have one (I assume you do).
I actually think it's quite an important issue that if something is such as safety issue, then why are some people allowed to ignore the rule while others have to obey it? It's a genuine question, and not aimed at shitstirring about gender. If commercial drivers are allowed to take their vehicles in through some allowance in the rules then all well and good, but I'd have a hard time believing that ALL the blokes I saw being able to happily ignore the sign were all in the "commercial' category...

Actually, I tried going for a swim at the local pool the other day and couldn't, cause it was ladies night.

BTW, I should have known when I pulled up. Not many of the cars in the pool carpark actualy were parked straight. Glad there wasn't any pits in sight, we'd have had a few tow trucks and cranes making some good money.

I get sick of girls bitching about being descriminated against when

    a. They have ladies only triathlons, womens nights at the pool, gymnasiums etc.
    b. Most of them can't drive properly anyway.

History has repeated itself many times. Are you saying that we're back sliding and gonna take a womans right to vote away, or stop them entering bars, because a fuckin warrant tester didn't let this woman drive over the pit?

One set of rules, that's the only issue here I think. They are breaking the rules by letting the guy's drive in. NOT by stopping PB. Perhaps the boss showed up just as it was her turn and they started obeying the rule because of that.

Something else has just occurred to me though. PB, are you saying you WANT to break the rules too? Dangerous thing to say on here, what with all the fuckin hypocrits that make up the majority of KB.

Is this just a case of a "MAN in charge" made a decision ... and a "WOMAN" did not like that decision ... ???

The guy making the decision would be the one cleaning up the mess (held responsible) if things turned pear shaped in the pit ... HIS choice ...

Hahaha, no. I'm not a little rebel really. Just thought it seemed odd that given the signage those packing a package behind their fly were able to blatantly disregard it.

Plus: Whaddaya reckon would happen, if on average, men lived longer than wimmin?

Commission of Enquiry and $$$'s spent to find the cause, with resulting media ads in English, Te Reo and Klingon...

However, as the average Doris lives about 4 years more, it's OK.

So in conclusion, I may get to drive over the VTNZ pit, but you get 4 years longer to whinge about it.

LOL perhaps the boss did show up at that time???
Be a damn shame if the boss was a girl! aye.
As for the hypo's on KB well thats another stereotype, that is hard to argue.
Not saying take anyones rights away, saying exactly what PB did in her first post here, One rule for all, or NOTHING,. Fair enough isn't it? As they are the ones with the signs saying, only staff to drive in the inspection area.
