On my way home on Sunday arvo from the Boulevard rally, get stranded in Taupo with a completely dead battery that would not even take a charge from a car jumper leads. The lovely lady in the coffee cart on SH1 by the lake front rings Chris, he doesn't know me at all but gets in his car, picks me and the dead battery up, gets a replacement from his workshop, checks the recharge on the bike, helps me fit it, makes sure the thing goes. Saved. Bloody brilliant! Thanks mate and I will send the battery back with some additional liquid.

He is working at Pro Moto, Taupo, in charge of the workshop and is one of the MotoTT trackday directors.
I've just been for a (brutal!) run with him, we run every tuesday thursday and sunday. Great mentor. He is quick!
