The libido doesn't magically wake up on the day of your 17th birthday (or whatever the legal age of consent is in the country you happen - by chance - to grow up in).

The age of legal consent is there, primarily, to prevent the sexual exploitation of the young - not to prevent curious young adults from exploring that which has the strongest attraction to them.
14 and 23 years of age, while both are young adults, will equal a massive difference in maturity in pretty much any imaginable case. It is the addition of drugs and force to the equation that tips the scales. However, you got to wonder why she got into the car with him the second time, you got to wonder why she got in the car with him in the first place. There's being raped and then there's jumping off the deep end and then getting second thoughts.

What can a 23yr old see in a 14yr old! there is huge emotional maturity differences in those ages (well there should be) maybe those girls weren't innocent. But that 23yr old took advantage of them! He is old enough to know better!

How old is your daughter again? Given that you seem happy to promote the sexually free swinging lifestyle that you say you enjoy (wave to Mrs DB) - do you promote that in your home? Do you think that would make kids wait longer or start earlier?
