I just right click the file itself and 'open with' or on my home machine simply double clicking the file opens it with mapsource.

Didn't have time last night to test everything but my version just didn't want to associate with gpx, but I'll see how I go tonight.

Very nice, now go stick some tape on it to keep the lid from getting free like so many other lids in the past.

    Hi guys

Thanks for pointing the tracklog length issue out. I think by the time I sent this out last night I couldn't see the wood for the trees and obviously missed filtering the tracks down.

I have done a new version of the file with the tracklogs filtered down to 500 points each and can send it out to anyone that wants it.

About 40 hours on the computer give or take, plus the 4 days riding the course to get the data. A lot of learning went on.

Nothing this year is any steeper than that goat track you took the 1150 down last year.

It wasn't error - it was sheep following sheep down the sheep track

Thanks Eddie, he sent me a new file and that fixed everything, my other copy somehow was corrupt and there were no routes on it, just the tracks and waypoints. I gave up with Mapsource and used GPS Trackmaker instead, to look at it, because updating my Mapsource wouldn't work either, suppose I needed to do a clean unload and load of new version - not enough time for that. So hopefully all will be fine.
    Cheers

Glad to hear that Merv, which one worked the .gdb or the .gpx?
