Shitty tyres + ice on road + fogged up visor + inexperience rider - might take it easy for a while.

Ice on the road and it's only March. Oh dear, she is going to be a long winter. I miss those 2 weeks of summer!
Good ol Upper Hutt and its cold. Gotta love the place! It makes you feel alive. BTW do you commute into Wellington? I feel I may have passed you in the traffic. A Keeway kinda stands out.

They sure do... mind you my girly back pack could be a little more subtle too. I'm the nanna that filters a little, moves back into traffic, sits, watches other bikes flying past, filters a little more, and end up late to work most days. Haha but I still have fun. That would be me. Hope I havn't gotten in your way at all!

Yep, Upper Hutt its pretty "special" in that regard - sure does make you feel alive.

Nothing wrong with that Katie. You ride within your limits. Smart move, especially in peak hour traffic.
