Damn I was gonna wimp out cos I'm not feeling the best but after watching those vids - wahoo! Well done Nordie. As I've mentioned before the vids don't show how steep some of those trails were.
Might have to mount that knobblie today. Will let you's know tonite if I'm up to it.

Can we go over the bridges tho this time - please?

    We did about 100km Nelson-Nelson.

It's all about finding interesting looking bits and trying them

I won't make it for tomms ride. i've got a bug that makes me hit the wall at 2pm every day. I don't think I could face picking up Gonzo that many times again.

Nordie should we perhaps book that track for an adv riders day. maybe after the vmx boys have gone thru & got rid of the slippery off camber grass bits. I think a lot of Nelson riders would really enjoy having a blat around it esp trying out different bikes like last weekend.
I found doing circuits a great way of trying how your bike responds with different input. Good knowledge to take out into the real world

    If anyone's interested sing out.

That's the last time that track will be used by the VMX'ers for a year or so probably.

5 April (Monday) VMX Club Motocross at Hinetai Hops, Tapawera Family Day.
We may be able to get a "road legal big bike" class going

Unless the ground is frozen then just about all laid-backs are do-able on a big bike with knobs.

Yep. Natural terrain, sometimes a bit of a bog in a corner depending which paddock (3 different ones I know of).

Wicked vids Fran! Quite like the look of Gonzo minus fairings - looks damn slim.

I'm going to have to pass on tomorrow.
I hit Padmei's 2pm wall at speed and it was solid brick.

    I'm absolutely knackered.

Well that's the first time someone's described Gonzo as slim - must have been sucking it's guts in.

    We'll wait for ya!

Hope Cula's been doing lots of pressups on his mat - gotta get used to pulling the PW50 out of bog holes with his dad.

last sunday was the first time ever that I physically could not pick the klr up.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
