    Dear Rider

RE: Confirmation of registration for TUSSOCK BUSTER 10

Thank you for registering for TUSSOCK BUSTER 10 being held the weekend of 26-28 March 2010.
We really appreciate you and your friends supporting this event as Offlimits is a charitable (non commercial) organisation that is dedicated to raising money to support soldiers in their sporting endeavours plus to provide help to those who return from overseas deployment and need additional assistance.
TUSSOCK BUSTER 10 will be bigger and better than last year due to the following:
    • You can ride for longer with tracks now opening on Friday at 1300 hr. Tracks on Saturday open after the special mass briefing at 0930 hours and on Sunday, they will open at 0830 hours.
    • There are more tracks than before. We now have two kids tracks in operation. One is in the trees beside the camping area and the other is on flat ground just to the south of the camping area. There is also a 100km track in addition to last years 90 km track. We have also put in some by- passes on the gnarly sections plus have included some expert sections for the really keen.
    • There are additional food stalls available and the Rugby club bar will once again be in operation. No need to bring food. You can buy it all there on site and the revenue goes to the local community.
    • The photographer will be in full swing and will have photos available each night and he will be screening snap shots of the day in the Rugby club each night.

The Waiouru Military Training Area is unique in the North Island and as a result, there are a few things to remember:
    • No tear offs and no littering at all
    • Fire extinguishers are recommended for all bikes over 85 cc but they are not compulsory
    • Some of the tracks are long, so take a back pack with you that contains ample tools, food, water and warm clothing. The weather can change suddenly at Waiouru.
    • Do not touch any ordnance seen in the training area. It could be dangerous. Please listen carefully to the rules relating to this at the briefing
    • Keep to the left on all gravel roads. There could be large military vehicles using these roads and they have poor visibility and cannot swerve to avoid you.

TUSSOCK BUSTER is a great family and group event designed for all to enjoy. Grab all the friends you know and head on down to Waiouru for what should be a fantastic weekend of riding.

    Regards
    OFF LIMITS

We had a leaky tent for Desert Storm earlier this year. Was very unpleasant. Hardly slept at all the first night. Bodged up a tarp on the 2nd night and all was sweet.
