Some people are just like that. "meh the person behind us will save him".
I sure would have stopped, because how could i expect someone to help me if i dont help anyone?
although i may need saving of myself as i probably got enough gas just to get to the top of my driveway. Result of being lazy and also being on reserve :P
i would have stopped had i been there. i always slow down, and will stop if needed. i carry a few tools, a cellphone and tiedowns, so i could go get a can of gas. i ended up riding with someone a few years ago, and when he vanished from my mirror, i stopped and waited to make sure he was ok.

the really happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery when on a detour.
What do you expect, you didnt have enough bling...
Dirt division are not real people!
Yep. I have a beard, but I expect you do too,, probably good you didn't stop
I wouldn't stop for a female that was broken down, I would if her bike was broken though. You see some rough one's round here, women, not bikes. Carry on.
A dream without a plan is just a wish!
Make it happen....

Most of them are(at least) slightly spoilt teenagers/preteens or grown up, once were, spoint tweenies who thrive off the bright colors and branding that is NZ MX trying to mimic the US scene, and consider road bikers about as similar to them as car drivers, and the few honest dudes who work for their bikes/gear are usually referred to by said mxers as "goon" or "hick" if they don't turn up in daddies ford explorer with a brand new 250/450 thumper and ilabb kit, or, god forbid, are a little slower than the rest because they haven't been able to ride since they were 4
I can't really say about the people who didn't stop for you (maybe they had other reason. God knows) but I'mabout them who laughed.
If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
The off road section seems to have quite a high membership and from the ones I have met, they don't seem to match said profile. Not to say the spoilt teen dirt bikers don't exist and yes, there are quite a few of those, just that there are also quite a few of the other (good) brand too. Quite a few bikers here seem to own a few types of bikes too.
Smoke 'em if you have 'em
You run what you brung, and pray you brought enough
