Wow guys one night away and look what I miss
Got home from Palmerston North just before 9pm then did a run to pick up Mark after hearing of his dilemma
I must admit the thought of the chain busting and then jamming the back wheel up at any speed makes me cringe. Well done for holding on to it
Gareth sorry to hear you got knocked off your bike on the way to the start point
I take from sels1 description you have a foot or leg injury. Are you ok?
Welcome Cam to Kapiti. We are not all related here and luckily only last week we got running water and power put on so your timing is impeccable
Well lads next week I'm off to Auckland to visit family on Thursday but wondering if for the last ride we either swap to Wednesday or I'm happy to catch up with you guys on a weekend ride

ps Do I need a passport past the Bombay Hills

There is a formula used to calculate speed from skidmark length, but its been a few years and I can't remember it! Impressive skill to keep it together mate. I am sure the flatspot on your tyre is equally impressive!!

Thankfully engine didn't get damaged, otherwise adding oil to the equation would have been a different story. Tyre survived ok, I assume that with me using the front brake kept a lot of weight off the rear, although about halfway through the skid the rear started to squirm, so the feet went down to steady me.

    And adrenaline is brown BTW
All of this, all of this can be yours, Just give me what I want and no one gets hurt

Funny you say that given I have been living in Auckland the last five years! Clearly passport control was not working the day the Busa flew past.

I just think that it's wonderfull to know that if you're broken down and abandoned on the side of a desolate, dark highway in the middle of the night in the pissing rain and howling wing... a simple phone call will bring aid and assistance... even to the uttermost ends of this earth. Just call 027 666 666 and ask for Darryn on the Bandit.

Have you added a red mohawk to your helmet? Cos I saw someone that looked suspiciously like you sporting one today.
