Personally I dont think the delay on day two was that bad.
Especially taking into account just how far behind the schedule was already for no reason apparent to me?
Sidecars are cool. Clean racing in other classes is sometimes boring to watch, sidecars are a breath of fresh air when they come on.
Take a close look at any class racing. There is always going to be bikes that let the rest down. Poorly maintained heaps of shit. It must be great to sit back on your couch and winge about every little thing. Just because they arent your cup of tea doesnt mean nobody enjoys them.
After many years racing bikes I had the chance to swing on a sidecar. Totally blew me away. The effort and G force they pull was incredible.I have never been so exhausted racing before.
I have a new level of respect for them now.
Haven't even read all of the first fuckin page and I'm boiling at the bung.
I'm getting a rig with my brother, and although I really hope it never lunches itself and drops oil, but really look forward to smashing the first fuckwit in the face that makes a comment about how it's always rigs that cause delays.
I've raced a few yearrs now, and never once seen a rig drop it's load. Watched a mate on a K6 gixxer six slide along the end of Taupo's bake straight after it did it though, a couple of post classic bikes chuck a leg out of bed and do the same, and F3 bike spew every fluid it held, and so on and so fourth.
The class needs some new blood for sure, and I can only hope to present it well enough that interest is spurred. I doubt very much that getting into fist fights with one eyed cock smokers like this motoGP1 character will do that, but it'll keep people watching I bet.
Neil, you can jam it up your arse man. YOU race an outdated fuckin machine, with NO fuckin future to speak of since there are now current bikes that comply with the rules of your class. How about you fuck off since most people only watch the front of a race, and at nationals level you aint gonna be there? Because you love doing what you do, and you have fun. Why the fuck cant I do the same at the vic series, just in a smaller numbered field?
I have used much profanity in my post, as an indication of how angry the hypocrites on this place make me. I too am a hypocrite in many ways, but I make up for it in passion for things I enjoy.
Just returned to bikes after a long break. Was shocked at the idiot sidecar loser laying oil all over the track on practice day, then again on the race day ( go 111 ) Sidecars are a joke, a 3 wheeled car, no leaning etc 1 more wheel and it would be .....a cart...... there's a good idea race them at car meets. After the Superbike TT there would have been 2 people watching the sidecars shambles. AMCC should ban the oil belching piece of junk from ever competing again.
Great wind up as a first post from a pseudonym I'm thinking. Here's my argument though.
Craig dropped his superbike three times in total over the weekend, add up the cleanup time to that and see how bad the side cars look. And that's just one rider out of all the other classes. I reckon the chair boys should be up in arms about the time lost, not the other way round.
Agree with you fully here as I stated earlier I have seen Solos spilling fluids I remember Gareths R1 going bang and Andrew got oil over his visor still have it on video and that was a top of the line well maintaned R1 Superbike
These things happen I dont think that guy actually planned to dump his oil either
