i got a place on the waterways at pauanui that we can use depending on numbers, if i can get a close-to-roundabout definate number of attendance... we cud posibly use that

Someone's lucky. I'm actually down at Pauanui the weekend after haha! Often go fishing off that public jetty in the waterways and perv on all the flash houses.

Anyway, yeah I guess we'll see how many people are keen on the ride in the new thread and that could be an option depending on numbers.

the long weekend is tampered with angry civilians in malls, leaving the roads completely FREEEEEE. I attempted a ride out west taking the memory-laden sh16-er but my plans rapidly depleted as soon as I saw a pub at riverhead. The gixxer happily hopped into the carpark even before the fan had the chance to start wheezing, which is an indicator of a prematurely interrupted ride indeed.

But I maintain that sh16 is still a nice road for a quick blast and have yet to take the gixxer through it so I will definitely do it sometime during the uni break. Hopefully you got some rides in this easter!

Nice. I ended up riding back from Dairy Flat at 2am in the rain with only a dark tinted visor... Couldn't see shit, was riding well under the speed limit, got a bit damp, had a blast... Gotta love it.
