    here it's pretty common.
to see people with tie and jacket too, pointing out their shiny mocassino...
people on scooters like to think that "scooter is slower than a motorbike, so it's not as dangerous" when they dress up, and that "scooter are faster and more agile than a bike" when they are standing at the red light...

i probably won't buy a scooter to my daughter: if you want, you'll get a serious motorbike, with a decent wheel size, a fair braking system and you'll take driving lessons and track days.
otherwise there are bikes. with pedals.

Hey does your cool rpm gauge have a shift light?

Well not really shocked I guess, but more suprised that someone would ride like that..

It's a boost gauge,so there is no shift light...

dont worry about the camera/cell when driving.. be more worried about the red light and the chick in front riding along with her foot on the ground!

Nearly all men can stand adversity and hard time, but if you want to test a mans true character, give him power....

Went to the old Victoria battery on Saturday (never been to an open day) it was a good riding day...

its a good view point to bike watch while having lunch, over the hour I saw two AG bikes NO gear at all not even an AG helmet, prolly 4 or five sports bikes giving it a bit of a nudge into on coming cars in jacket brain bucket board shorts and trainers, shyt loads of cruiser American shriners with black T's jeans and no gloves. (wind chill?)
the worst tho was a fully kitted MoRetard biker trying to fit a gap that wasn't there causing an articulated truck to lock-up and serve...the shyt ya see when you don't have a camera...
Each to their own I guess?

    Neither was the scooter rider...

Regardless of that, she wasn't breaking any laws - but you were.

Law Scmaw.... Not really about the Law per sae..
    More about the attitude.

Rider wasn't breaking the law.. BUT she doesn't appear to realise that wearing jandles on a bike (even a scooter) isn't a smart idea.

Yes, OP may have been breaking the law, if he used his cell phone, but not camera AFAIK....
Thing is, he just took photographic evidence of something that shocked him so we could ALL learn.
Okay, preaching to the choir... OR am I?

Have a read of yungatart's post AGATT in Survival Skills and see what i mean....

I didn't use my cell phone,I only used the Camera..

If i were on my bike I would have said "wtf, your wearing jandals"?

As someone else pointed out,she was wearing a flouro vest but didn't bother with shoes and pants etc.

I posted this because i see threads on kiwibiker about riders having accidents at least a couple of times a week, and if they are only wearing jandals..................

Come to Auckland Uni during the morning. I've seen 1 out of a hundred wearing anything more then shorts and jandals.
