WHAT!? what year is this gixxer!? is it actually stuffed or are you looking at replacing parts that just need adjustment and possibly a softer spring? and/or replacement with a honda?

plus I'd say those tyres are about worth what you paid for them with the coming wet winter weather.... back on the r6 even with reasonable tyres and conditions it was still too easy to let loose the rear

then again i suppose some proper throttle control would've gone a long way

07...so not exactly requiring spaceship parts. stock spring is too stiff.

That's a pretty open-ended question. If you're asking if you could keep up on a FXR150 then I wouldn't want to speak for anyone else too much, but we've got a couple of people who have mentioned that they'd be keen for it to be a relatively cruisy one, myself included.

I've never done the loop before so I'd be happy enough to take it slow and soak up the scenery.

Oh baby wouldn't you like to know!

Anyway, erm everybody rides their own ride at their own pace, we're not about breaking speed limits if that's what you're asking, some people just might not slow down for ze twistiez.

But yeh I'll be in it for the cruise like most people have stated

Careful with that, you'll strain something...

Sounds good for me, too. Wouldn't have minded delaying that start by an hour but I guess this means what, coroglen for lunch?

There will be a fuel stop at Kopu when we arrive, lunch at Coroglen, then maybe a fuel stop at Whitianga if anyone needs it, then Kopu and back.

Any posts by Squiggles or Motorbyclist will be ignored until such a time as they are actually seen on a SMC ride.
