This thread has reminded me of a stag do I attended at a very isolated pub on the Black Isle in Scotland. I was attending my best mates do with about 30 others, we all camped in the field beside the pub. Much to our suprise & delight another group of bikers turned up for another stag do, with a band! It was a family outfit, father & two son's, they played blue's & rock for about 6 hours until the drummer collapsed. The publican was really layed back, the nearest cop was miles away, bar closed about 5am & prior to that you could do whatever you wanted in the pub. My first introduction to this was seeing a guy rolling up in the pool room at 3pm, turned out to be the barman. The only blight on a hilarious night was some poor sod who had his tent pinched off the back of his bike.
Peter and Michelle who run the manakau pub just south of levin are bikers and I have spent a few good nights there, good food and atmoshere and they have done a lot to the place which makes it worth stopping there.
I think the thread shows that pretty much any establishment will do the job.
The Patrons are the deciding factor.
I like the idea of a sheltered work area - don't need no tools supplied but one of those work platform to elevate the bike and some tie downs would help.
Sale of oil, fuel and break fluid would be great.
a burnout pad would be awesome, maybe a cheap burnout bike to use as well
the gear room idea is good as well, but security issues
the lock up storage for a bike is a good idea too
but the most important out of all of them is CHEAP BEER! like i mean $4 pints!
things like with every 5 beers purchased you get a bowl of chips for free,
a fire in winter
basic cheap accommodation - a stretcher or something
pool tables and dart boards
music? nah don't need it
Tv? dont need it
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
Looks like the perfect biker bar is sounding more and more like an FMX compounddid I mention that would be totally awesome!

Just give extra chips. Yum.
If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
First rule of a decent pub, it has to be ran by a Pom, Paddy or Jock.
