Mrs Oakie biffed hers 6 weeks ago because there was so much crap on it (and because someone kept telling her to add people as friends that she didn't even know). I've never had one (apart from the one I opened at work to use to check prospective employees out).

How curious. I've just received an email from a mate saying exactly the same thing......although he was a bit less polite than you.

I suspect most people don't know Facebook has settings where you can stop the notifications. Pretty benign otherwise.

I was never the slightest bit interested in Facebook - but my wife went to Aust a couple of months ago,and it was an easy way for her to keep in touch with us cheaply. But I have found young people on it - my kids,my nephews in Canada,my friends kids. It's good to keep in touch with the young people on their own medium.

Yep I am picking this is the case. The ignore function on FB is WAY more effective then the one on KB.

It beats the abuse and constant personal attacks that go on in this forum!

What's a face book? Is that like a picture album?
