    Thumbs up Thanks!

I would just like to say a brief but big thanks to the biker who lifted my bike off my leg this morning and to the mufti cop who took care of traffic and offered the ambulance! Thanks chaps, you are legends!

Myself and my bike are got away with only minor damage.

Hope you are O.K now Jonathan. And it's so good to see others help out when its needed. There are some really good folk around, especially amongst bikers as I'm finding. Take it easy tonight, sounds like you are going to have a really good sleep!

Most certainly, which reminds me, thanks too to the first aid supplies dude (also a biker) who saw me patching up my leg at work and gave me a load of great patches and antiseptic wipes!

Just a reminder on how dangerous it can be on the Welly roads eh.
You weren't the poor bugger who hit the suddenly opened passenger door this morning were you?

Nah, mine was an accident of my own creation, cold tyres and a bit of overeagerness. But I know what you mean about the Welly roads, I generally have to avoid an overtired, distracted and/or unobservant commuter at least once a day.

I am guessing the poor bugger you are referring to had a lot worse a morning than mine!

    Hi Jonathan,

Was this just near the station by plimmerton?

If so the guy who helped you was a friend of mine, John, a big chap on a Triumph Thunderbird. He was telling me about it in the pub that night.

I'll pass on your thanks if that was you.

    Mark.
