Anyone else got any comments about the ride? We like to hear feedback (good and bad!). Must have been a few more KB'ers there out of 886 riders.

Looking for some photos to put up on our website/facebook page too (I won't nick yours Pete) so if anyone has any to share please send to hmcc@kol.co.nz or upload to our facebook page or to this thread.

    Thanks

Wicked ride. Lunch was good which is always a big plus for me. Everyone seemed pretty well behaved. Track was cool, real easy to cater to more people but fast! Soooo fast, was a bit gutted to be running a 13t front sprocket.... Felt very limited in sections. Was cool fun just holding it wide open and changing between 5th, 4th and occasionally 3rd as the track dictated.

On the flip side, does fast mean more injuries from people getting it wrong at higher speeds? And although I loved the wide open nature of the ride it got really rather boring down those long straights towards the end of the loop..... Even a quick zig zag in the middle of a paddock makes things a bit more lively.

    All in all, well enjoyed!

Oh hell yes, a faster ride means more injuries.

Understand about the long straights, however we are in the hands of the farmers, and they are VERY precious about their grass, understandably.

    Thanks for your comments
