I've been in the same situation before. Rural road I know well, on way home from work. Long straight about 10 cars going about 70k. Plenty of time on bike to get passed and in front. Indicate down a cog and give it the berries. Two other cars in front decide to do the same. Faark before we can all get passed vehicle in front a people mover full of Islanders turns right at a paddock with no entrance (fence wires had been dropped so they could get into paddock to bag onions ). I ended up in the middle of two passing cars trying to avoid all this. Of course this stuff happens at times. At work you have to report it as a "Near miss".

But this could be nothing like what happened. We could wait till there are more facts aye !

Driving or riding? or do you automatically blame the car as well?

actually Km have to disagree here, Mrs S & I were coming back from Jacksons Bay a few weeks back coming up to a right hander when the car in front decided to stop & then turned with out indercating where he was going I thought he was going left into a track so started to overtake (options runing out fast) he then turns right dam near stuck to drivers door the big lock up he heard us & put his foot down it's the only reson we didn't hit him & all because he never looked in his mirror or indercated
