Are you happy with it? I'd like to get this done one day

Very happy, been about 3 weeks now and the pain has gone and just feels like a normal tooth. It takes a while after they rmove the tooth to let your gums settle etc but they made a temporary plate so it looked like I had a tooth but I never wore it. The dentist actually pushed it through acc cos the original tooth was broken when I was 8.

i just had one of my front teeth replaced. They drill a hole in your jawbone and put a stud in and then screw a tooth onto the stud. No plate so thats good. Cost $7k ish.

It is known that mastication, the simple act of chewing one's food, does more than prepare the food for swallowing and digestion. The act also serves as a form of oral aerobics, causing oxygen-rich blood to flow to the head and brain. It's also known that people chew with greater vigor when they have their own teeth.
What's the bottom line? Well, for one, be careful when your dentist debates whether to pull your wisdom tooth or put on a crown. Look her square in the eyes and say, "That one? Wow - that's connected to my third grade summer vacation... my first real crush. " Then, a dreamy look crossing your eyes, sit back and sigh, "I think I'll go with the crown."

I have a rare condition where my body rejects Calcium and almost all me teeth broke and crumbled.
I mucked around for so long and finally 4 years ago i went and got the lot out and had a false set installed top and bottom.
Best thing i have ever done (after choosing Dianne) and i finally can eat food without a sharp broken tooth cutting my inner cheek or whatever , luxury. Tops stay put , lowers move a bit but managable. I hate apples anyhow lol.

the best part about my condition is i have had some massive crashes and all my bones are soft so i dont break lol .
(mind you i will take 3 times longer to heal if i do get a break ) .

Goblin - most dental technicians can make false teeth that look similar to your natural teeth - of course you need to take photos or have photos of your teeth, but you can replicate what you had easily.

Sick of tooth ache and dentists ive decided bugger this and started the ball rolling to rid myself of the bloody things,they where never any good

Best thing I ever did, if your teeth are had it go for it, you WON'T regret it. I had my doctor refer me to the local hospitals dentist. Cost me $400 to get them all ripped out under general anesthetic. Was on a liquid diet for a week or so which wasn't to bad, lotsa KFC potato and gravy and yoghurts etc. I then waited around a month to get new dentures made. Took bugger all to get used to and now I can eat anthing I like.

Depending on how well my investments perform (powerball) I'd like to get the full set of implants but I've heard it's around $50K. (and thats probably a low ball figure).
I've got really bad teeth, a quick check with the tip of my tongue shows about 6 top 8 bottom ones intact, 6 or more broken and the rest have been extracted.
It is very inhibiting, both working and socially, when you have to try and converse while opening your mouth as little as possible.

All done and dusted,10.30 this morning got them all out,only a couple gave me any pain so he gave me another couple of shots and yanked em.Arrived home at 12 oclock and promptly fell asleep on the couch for an hour.Woke up hungry so tried a feed of scrambled eggs which was so succesful i then fried up some spud and had that and Spaghetti,piece of piss and ive no idea what all the fuss was about.Should have done it years ago and can honestly say its the best $3000 ive ever spent.(besides the Carrozzeria rims)

It was the best thing I ever did. Since I had mine done (aged 25 for medical reasons) I've been so much happier. I've had maybe 5 migraines in the many years that have passed since, whereas I was getting up to 10 migraines a month for periods of 4 months or so beforehand.

Yea id heard that bad teeth can result in all sorts of crap happening.Only a few hours later mate i to can say its the best thing ive ever done.Why i put up with crap teeth/toothache for the last 20 years ive no idea.
