Exceeding 104 km/h - Who got a ticket this weekend?

We rode yesterday, covered 160 km - and never once spotted a police car. Didn't stick to the so called 104 km/h speed limit either

Has anyone been caught this weekend for going over 104 km/h?

Have to laugh at the morons claiming their campaign is working.

The simple fact that the weather is crap and NOT their bullshit propaganda, seems to be their lame excuse to attempt to have this as a permanent thing.

It's crap in Christchurch, yesterday was good though.

EDIT: And looking at metservice, I'd hardly call that fine weather.

I heard along the grapevine from an extremely reliable source, that no cops in Hb wanted to work the extra shifts for this wonderful campaign of there's - could be another reason we never saw any on our travels yesterday. Wondered if it may have been a scare tactic of theirs, will never know though.

No point in trying at that speed. There's more than one way to stop someone doing that...it's just a matter of time (and circumstance).
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

From a distance of 270km i think you'd be pretty much out of sight. The curvature of the earth would be working in your favour too.
