I thought the latest CBR was ugly till I rode it.... now they could paint it pink and it'd still be the one.

Uhhhh..... which GSXR would you be talking about? Last time I checked a GSXR didn't have undertail exhuast and single sided swingarm. The MV looked like this a long time before the GSXR started getting skinny and light.

This is what GSXR's looked like when the MV F4 was released.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Very very pretty .. but last time I looked under the plastic there were oil lines, other lines, cables and stuff in all directions .. they used to call the Vincent engine the "Plumbers Nightmare" But the Augusta I saw was much worse ...

Is he?? I don't know my history as well as you guys but out of interest I googled 1998 MV Agusta and got this
    http://www.autoevolution.com/moto/mv...-oro-1997.html

Looks to me like their design has been similar through time if that web site is correct??

Oh and to bring the thread back on topic, wouldn't it be nice to do just one lap on a famous bike like that. Just so you could see how it felt and say you've ridden it!!!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
