    Australia confirmed on 2011 Provisional FIM World MX Calendar:

    The 2011 FIM Motocross World Championship provisional calendar was released overnight and the big news for Australian enthusiasts is the inclusion of an Australian round for the first time in over a decade. Broadford is the named venue for the 2011 season opener and classes expect to compete at the round include the premier MX1 and MX2 categories supported by a Veteran class.

    My take is within 3 years personally, youthstream are playing hardball with the ama running two events in the USA, my money is they're trying to muscle the factories to give global support & using the two USA + oz events to do that, at that point taupo makes alot of sense, but at the moment that global money is not there & the teams are not real happy about travel costs, at least that is what I take from the articles I've read.
