A mate of mine only paid $350 for his NSR250. Can't complain for something that starts first kick and goes.

Those SP's only had a 1000 unit run, didn't they?
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

It may appear a little steep, but try and put a two stroke on the road in the states, its almost impossible now with the emission laws

    I was thinking the same,
There's a MC28 SE in the same colours on there too with a California title for USD $7500 (asking).

Haldanes was asking $11k for a 'mint' NSR250SP with Rothmans fairings. Was the right shop for it to have that price tag on it!

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

That's pretty tame, especially for a street titled SP in the states.

    This here
    http://www.goobike.com/cgi-bin/searc...6B20090307002+
is selling for $15650 NZD in Japan.

If it's what people are willing to pay. I have to say I think it's fantastic that 250s are as cheap here as they are. Certainly we have less variety than Japan, and the really rare ones very very difficult to find. But the prices for them are really good, privately at least.

Some dealers seem to be having a laugh here though, with some trying to sell RS250s for 5 figures. What a joke.

That's cheap, see what an MC28 Rothmans goes for in Cali!
