ACC doctors - a neice of mine's husband has been going through hell with a shoulder injury of some sort. Being an ex farmer, ACC deemed it to be degenerative damage and refused to pay. The operation cost to repair the damage is around $25,000 and as he has to have it done, he has fronted with the cost, whilst still pursuing his claim with ACC. Meantime he's already had to pay 1000's for treatment up to date. Finally, the ACC sent him to one of "their" doctors and agreed to cover the cost of an Op if "their" Dr approved it..........
Not only did "their" Dr approve it, he said it was the worst case of whatever he had seen, and the ACC should have been covering all costs from the beginning!
The ACC is now taking the case to arbitration..........(or whatever it is they do next to dispute it....)!!!

They all, to a man fight to get their patients the resources they need, no matter the cost.

As a side note I don’t know how many doctors ACC “has”, as far as I know it’s sod all.
I've got internal ACC files showing an ACC doctor advising completely contrary to 3 specialists (one of whom is hugely respected in the field).

Had this doctor consulted the patient? No. Was he more qualified than the "experts"? No.

Was he being paid by ACC? Yes.

See this letter from their claims dept general manager.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Funny but I am on side with ACC on this one, doctors kill more people than the roads do every year and never get a mention!

Accountability at last, watch this space!
I totally agree. My faher died as a direct result of doctors actions. Well did the bull shit fly.

I wasn't eating donuts at this point so I was actually listening to what was said and heard bullshit bullshit bullshit.

We have a coroners inquest, the family, no lawyer my brother speaking (who unlike me can actually communicate with people). Well he fucking kicked ass. He made the lying sack of shit lawyers look just like that.

Doctors with all their overpaid lying sack of shit lawyers on the other side.

One of the doctors lied his fucken face off the whole way through with no accountability.

I believe that most in that profession are good honest people who try to do good, but such as humans are there are also peeps who bring the whole profession down.

End result, my father dead when he shouldn't be.

ACC well that is another LONG post............
