Just click the link, on the pinlock website to "motor usa" and there is an explanation of what it is.

But in quick terms it is double glazing for visors.

    Most bike shops have them.

    Dunno about the price.

Another big ups for pinlock visors...got mine a couple of weeks ago,the local bike shop got it in for me,cost about $50.

Have a foggoff face mask but can't get it to stay in place with my new Helmet.work well but not as well as a Pinlock.

I have the same shark RSI. Generally pretty good for antifog-ness except in the rain I have to open it a bit. I asked about pinlocks at cycletreads but they said i couldnt get one for the RSI

Guess will just have to get on of the stick on ones

Just been on my first reasonable ride with a full-faced helmet in cold/moist conditions - dunno how you guys do it, the fogging stress would give a dogs arse heartburn.

But I might give one of them 'pinlock' deals a shot.

Oh God. Now I feel simple. I usually ride around town visor up but when facial protection is required, all I do is leave the visor at it's first setting (about 5mm open I guess). No fog ... a pleasant waft of fresh air in summer and in winter I wear a balaclava so no worrries there.

But what happens when ya stop at traffic lights or stop signs etc in the pissin down rain.????

Even with my Foggoff mask the visor would fog up when I stopped, not so with a pinlock insert.

the " Pinlock System " is a Shoei thing & designed for Shoei helmets but you can fit to pretty much any lid, all you need is a drill, drill bit & 15 minutes. Found me a spare one ( I have a Shoei Multi tec flip front helmet also ) sized up my Nitro Aerotech to make sure it would fit, drilled me holes & 15 min later DONE.... just came back from 2 weeks touring the lower north island & even travelling through national park in thick/cold fog it didn't fog up at all I have recently spoken with a local bike shop & they informed me that the new pinlock visors have a wider oval shape & better side vision to fit the new Shoei XR 1100 & to offer better vision if you are on a sport bike due to the seating position, so before buying anything off the shelf I'd take me lid in a size both up & pick the best that suits you.
I Used to jog but the ice cubes kept falling out of my glass
