    Very keen men indeed. (helps to have your own slaves/winch men).
    I'd use marks, but he would skive off into the bush for his own reccies.

    u can do that Eddie. Take ya bike to Rotorua redwoods and do the Nationaldownhill for mountain bikes. unsure if mountain bikers will be happy

    I've been following that too. Amazed at where the 4wd's go. Crazy shit.

    That guys running trials tyres, so it's no wonder he gets stuck.

    Thanks - but no thanks

    I don't mind a challenge - as long as I have a reasonable chance of being able to ride over it - but the moment you have to start dragging bikes around for extended periods - unless you are very fit - your energy disappears at a disproportionate rate and with it your enjoyment.

    I know a guy who likes this sort of riding - there is a good reason he has trouble finding people to ride with.

    Great thread and hardcore ... love it!!

    That is bloody hard work tho, we get into that in the trucks, deep rivers, big deep bogs, lots of winching, wheels off the ground etc. squashed between trees .. the occasional role over fail , far easier in the truck than on the bike for sure.
