The bike is repairable .....the body takes a lot longer...and can have lasting consequences

    Learn the lesson.

    Be glad it wasn't worse.

And get some advanced training. Sooner, rather than later.

It depends on what happened when you went off road, if you actually collected the ditch then yeah you might want to get it looked at.

Yeah, I've definitely learned a lesson. I would really like to do an advance course but I really don't know where. I've looked. But maybe not hard enough :S

The welding alone is not too pricey (we were told about $45 for that), but it gets a whole lot more costly when it needs to then be filled, sanded and painted. Most places should be able to give you a fair idea of likely cost if you take it in for them to look at.

p.s. glad to hear you don't seem to be hurt. In future, don't get mesmerized by patches/ditches etc. road side. I ended up in deep gravel once and thankfully didn't come off, but it taught me a valuable lesson on target fixation.

Oh thats awesome!!! I think the plastic just needs to be put together. No filling in holes or anything. Would you mind giving me the number please? That would be awesome.

Get the fairing plastic welded, or look up motorcycle wreckers to chance a 2nd hand one being ok. Indicators shouldn't be too expensive from hyosung but do the same at the wreckers, you might get lucky.

Basic Handling doesn't really treat you much at all, I'd definatly recommend advanced training, and get yourself a decent experianced mentor. Glad to hear your ok.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.

I'm actually more concerned at the number of learner riders that seem to be coming out of BHS courses without an ingrained knowledge of looking where they want their bike to go.
