They call it the "neutral speed" where you can drive on the ring without any input. The speed varies depending on which lane you use.

The neutral speed for the four car/motorcycle lanes are respectively:
    Lane 1 - 100 km/h (62 mph)
    Lane 2 - 140 km/h (87 mph)
    Lane 3 - 190 km/h (118 mph)
    Lane 4 - 240 km/h (149 mph)
These test would have required some input from the rider.

    For example

For example the Koenigsegg CCR which set a speed record for a production car at the Narḍ Ring did so with the steering wheel at a 30° angle.

The front tyres must have been made out of scratch proof rubbers or something.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Hmm I started off pretty interested. Then I thought about it. What a pointless exercise - unless you want pissing rights in the pub it is meaningless dribble and irrelevant in either the street or track (as in one with more than one corner).

Might as well sit them all in a row and duct tape the throttles wide open and record what order the engines shit themselves.

I'm going back to my Beer - a nice cool Sol with a slice of lemon.

I'd let you take the blade for a rip but sadly, according to that article, it won't go that fast

When are we going out to see whose bike has the biggest balls? Although I'll be wanting a long runway or closed road, I ain't having anyone pull out in front of me at that speed.

Next time we hit Wigram, I'll see if they'll let us make a pass on whatever is left of the runway/taxiways?

Sounds good. Will be interesting to see how they compare in acceleration to top end.
