    With great sadness

I love riding as you all know. I am currently in the process of building and it's proving to be more costly than I envisaged so my black beauty is on the block. Shit it hurts

Hopefully I will be able to get another bike soon all working out well, but in the meantime I don't know how I'm going to get on with out my awesome machine.

    We've all been there...........

Dude, feelin you're hurt, we all been there bro. I recall not so long ago selling my beloved beast. Most people didn't like riding it, Triumph Speedmaster, with 22inch apes, but boy she drew a crowd, and was a conversation point. I loved riding it, and put 4k worth of belltronics lazer blockers and state of the art radar nav gear on it with gps...........
Long story short, had to sell it to pay mortgage during tight spell in recession..... saddest part was I got jack for it, and felt lost.
Back on a bike 6 months later.....

All the best bru, there is life after bikes, but not a nice one lol.

Yep I can relate having been in that place once or twice in the past.If bikes are in your blood it hurts to even hear one go past when you are bikeless.

Knowing what i know now i would never sell a bike in your position unless there was absolutely no other alternative.Try at least to keep a "fill in" bike.

noooooooo don't sell it! We were in a similar situation with my husband being out of work and there was no way I would let him sell his bike! To sell something you love for bugger all money is just so wrong!

Hmmm for a lousy $7k I'd be inclined to suggest to the Mrs that she offers the bank manager a handjob.

If you look on Trademe you don't get a lot of 'replacement' bike for $7.

What I mean is $7 now may easily be $15 in 6 months time to get back on something you'll really enjoy.

I wouldn't part with her if I had the choice but things are going to be real tight.

Thanks for the comments folks, makes me really want to keep her.

Trouble is, they no longer make these so I can't just get another once I am able either

    Cheers
