Cool, he's got both feet on the ground. Top box is a bit retro...

Alloy wheels = fail. Ground clearance looks like two tenths of bugger all. Me thinks that is not the proper adv model. Think of F650 twin not F800GS.

Thanks for posting that picture. It is the only decent shot of what the road version looks like so far. A bit agricultural though.

Where did you find that shot? Was there any more information - well speculation more likely and pictures.
    cheers

What they need is a 675-engined 21/18" adventure model and a 1050-engined 19/17" gs-type model. The former would certainly be in a class of one.

Is there no market for a light-ish single or twin or ww's suggestion of a 675 based basic bike with decent range and good-ish offroad capabilities? oh and well priced.
Or do a lot of overseas adventure riders prefer paved roads and posing outside cafes? (cue a sneeze that sounds like "harley davidson")
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Yes please! (well up to 12 months ago and maybe in 10 years there will be one). Only other stipulation is decient suspenders i.e. enduro spec stuff.

    both endz

There would be little point in producing big brother little brother Vstrom wannabes. If they are serious about producing two bikes to suit both ends of the adventure market (latte\BMW vrs Red Bull\KTM) then lets hope they manage to acheive it.

KTM will still be the best adventure bike maufacturer, we know that, but would be nice to have a new second placer!

Actually, there is, not that I put the adventure/trail version as a 'strom competitor. Firstly, plenty of ppl don't want a japper or a v-twin, and secondly, Triumph would like a slice of the adventure pie! (The versys is the wee-strom wannabe, izzit?)

Triples are quite a different ride, sitting between the power of a four and torque of a twin. And they're turbine-like smooooooth yet distinctively rorty.

I seriously doubt Mr Bloor is going to come out with anything more off-road capable than an F650GSD-type thing. Not a trailie-single competitor, that's for sure, so Messrs. Kronreif & Trunkenpolz won't be losing any sleep.
    Cheers,
    Colin

Well one of them won't anyway, 'cause he's dead.
