According to Starship on the news tonight, one child per week is admitted with suspicious injuries with one per month with head injuries. Didn't get a breakdown of races on that.

Eds avatar reminded me of The Black Panther movement in the US. Then the shit hit the fan and the protests gave way to internal violence. Same here. The collective angst of a minimised people, has been redirected back on itself, same as all personal responsibility arguments.

Look at Gaza, South Africa, Australia and here

I blame the system, for not managing its herd correctly, but rather steam rolling a one size fits all ideology onto those who due to genetics, cannot absorb it, nor actually want to. But there is nowhere else to go but yourself and frustration, or letting go of what others do, and staying happy anyway. Equanimity I believe the Buddhists call it.

Spiritually its either Bishop Tamaki's lot, becoming Muslim or Rastarfarian for Maori.

Maybe he's right, maybe the 'system' is to blame. Obviously then, the 'system' needs to change it's approach. I vote for eradication. Let the 'system' eradicate the rapists/murderers/child abusers.

Actually upon reflection it could well be the systems fault. These people have been so babysat by the system that they have lost the ability to think for themselves, and then when they do think for themselve e.g. bashing a child, the system was not there to tell them what they are doing is bad.

    Shoot the fuckers.

I'm sorry but I can't help wondering if this sort of thinking isn't the first obstacle we need to overcome in order to address this issue.

    When we say things like:
    Police
    Maori
    Pakeha
    etc
We really mean we or us (ourselves) because like it or not that is us, New Zealanders!

We are all shades of everything New Zealand, good bad and ugly and if we don't like "we" should try to do something "positive" about it!

We can not absolve ourselves from the responsibility or consequence simply by blaming someone else!
